Years ago, I had the opportunity to visit Hawaii for the very first time.  My wife and I were beside ourselves as our departure date drew nearer.  Of course, seeing pictures and videos are nice, but once you are there it’s almost as if nothing you see or hear in advance can prepare you for it.

I remember stepping off the plane in Honolulu, and even though we had been awake for almost 24 hours, the adrenaline was coursing through my body.  We had actually accomplished this goal together!  We did it!  After 25 years of marriage, we were in Hawaii!  We had no idea of how our minds were about to be blown over the next seven days.

I’m not sure why, but as we explored the island of Oahu, which is the most populated of all the Hawaiian Islands, I felt a strong spiritual connection to the land…one that I had never experienced anywhere else in the world.

On our third day, we woke up early and decided to drive to the East coast of the tiny island to a magnificent beach we had seen many pictures of called Lanikai beach.  I have been very fortunate and blessed in my life thus far, to have visited quite a few places in the world.  However, there have only been a few sights that have completely taken my breath away.  Lanikai beach is one of them.

On the island, all beaches are public.  Between every couple of houses that line the oceanfront, there is a little path you need to walk that takes you from the road to the beach.

When we emerged from the path, the sight of the waves rolling onto the powdery white sand was breathtaking.  Don’t get me wrong…I’ve been on many beaches before.  The resort we were staying at on the west coast of the island had a gorgeous beach.  But for some reason, emerging from that path to see the sun shining on the endless sea, spoke to my soul.

It was there that I decided I needed a change in my life.  Life had just gotten too stressful, and work was slowly killing me.  I figured if there was a way to earn a living by using my laptop or phone for a few hours a day and enjoy the rest of if doing whatever I wanted to do, I was going to find it.

Several years and a pandemic later, the dream became a reality.  Was it hard work?  Absolutely.  Was it worth it?  Let me put it this way…I only wish I had visited Hawaii earlier in life, as that visit to Lanikai seemed to be the catalyst.  Although I don’t live in Hawaii, we have been lucky enough to go back and visit several times.  So when I sit on my back deck and close my eyes, I picture myself sitting by the ocean.  That’s where I do my work…for a couple of hours per day.  Then I get to enjoy the rest of my day with my wife, doing whatever we want.

You see so although our goal is to have you blogging on the beach, and living the laptop lifestyle, “the beach” can be anywhere you want.  If you want to physically live in a beachfront home, then go for it!  “The beach” just needs to be your happy place.  Stick with me and we’ll help get you there.

If you need a place to start…if you just want to get started and have no idea what to do or where to go, I highly recommend a program called Partnership to Success.  Click HERE to watch a video about how it works.  I think you’ll be amazed at how quickly you can be up and running!  Just remember, if you want to be an online entrepreneur you MUST realize it is a marathon, not a sprint.  Building your own business is not a get rich quick scheme.  It requires dedication and you need to invest a set amount of time every day.  You can do this!

Wishing you massive success,

James King
